The Ride of His Life…For Her Life

Brad with Isabel, Rally kid & cancer survivor

In 2002, as a testicular cancer survivor and in celebration of his 10th anniversary of being cancer-free, Brad made a solo bicycle trek from San Diego, CA to St. Augustine, FL covering 3,000 miles in 35 days raising money for the American Cancer Society.

Rally Kids welcome your support for the inaugural Rally Around the World for Childhood Cancer Research, which will take place July – September 2012 as a solo, around-the-world motorcycle ride to support the Rally Foundation’s mission of empowering volunteers to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.

Rally Around the World will mark Brad’s upcoming 20th anniversary of being cancer free. The struggles these children endure reach far beyond the personal challenges he faced when fighting cancer and will face on an around-the-world motorcycle ride supporting the Rally Foundation.

About Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research

Rally Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Atlanta, empowers volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. 1. Hey Brad,

You’re awesome. Starting a ride of my own “20,000 km for Kids with Cancer” to improve the awareness, early detection, and educate about treatment options through Latin America. Driving from San Diego to Buenos Aires. Any tips would be much appreciated :). Looking forward to the updates as I’m following you for your trip.

    • Hi Nathan…WOW – sounds like you are putting together an amazing trip, and like me, your are giving back to Kids with Cancer. Would be interested on when you plan to begin your trek, the type of cycle you are riding, where you live (assume it may be San Diego) and any other details you have. As far as tips, not sure if you are familiar with Horizons Unlimited, but it’s a must-see website for global motorcycle riding. Stay in touch…BRAD

  2. Go Brad and Go Nathan!
